Another sign the Holidays are on the way!! It was just announced today that the White House Christmas was cut and has begun it trek across the country to be on display for all the country to see!!!
As reported by NBC News, "Crews cut down the 65-foot Sierra White Fir Monday
morning and carefully placed it onto a trailer with a custom built
cradle to support it.
The tree came from the
Stanislaus National Forest in Fresno, California, and will now begin its
cross-country tour to the District, making several stops along the
way.
The Capitol Christmas Tree is also known as The People’s Christmas Tree, and will be placed in front of the Capitol Building."
